CHANGE THE MAC ADDRESS/PHYSICAL ADDRESS OF YOUR PC BY REGISTRY EDITING

Today i am telling you the way to change your PC's MAC address by editing registry.It is a simple technique required 2 or 3 minuites.
Check out some conditions when you have to change your MAC address.
  • Your PC is blacklisted by any website or search engine.
  • You have identified as the highest downloader in wireless network in your workplace.
  • You have to open several accounts in a website with same password and username.

Now follow the steps below to work out the job.

1.Open Start Menu and click on "Run".

2.Type "regedit" and press "OK".

3.You have gotten the registry edit window and continue with the route
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Control/Class/{4D36E972-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002bE10318}




4.Clicking on you will see the window like below.Click on each folders namely 0000/0001/0002............./0011 and find in which folder your network connection exists.When you click on the folders there appeares a details of that folder at the right side of the window.You will get the network connection in the right side portion of the window.

In my PC i got the network connection in the folder 0010.It looks like


5.Goto the bottom side of the window there you will see

Now right click on "REG_SZ" and click "New" and "String Value".Thus a new string is created at the last.Rename it as "NetworkAddress".

6.Right click on "NetworkAddress" and click "Modify".A dialogue box appeared like this


7.Type your desired MAC address(XXXXXXXXXXXX) in the value data Box and then hit "OK".

Thus your work is done now close the registry editor and Disable your current network connection from control panel.

Enable the connection and watch your PC's MAC address definitely it has been changed...
