HOW TO SOLVE Dr.WATSON POSTMORDEM DEBUGGER PROBLEM

Dr.Watson.exe is a simple program which was first used in Windows XP Service Pack 3 to postmodem the minor problems in Windows and reporting immediately to Microsoft.If the windows problem becomes major then it can not handle the situation and effects operating system.Thus sometimes it behaves like a trojan.Now here is a simple registry editing tip to stop the execution of Dr.Watson.exe by registry editing.You can further run the execution.Follow the steps and do it.......

1.Go to "Run" and open "Registry Edit".

2.Follow the root HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows NT \ CurrentVersion \ AeDebug .


3. After clicking on "AeDebug" look at the right pane.There is a name "Auto",double click on "Auto".(Above screen shot)Thus you will get a pop up window where you will be asked for changing the value data of "Auto".Change it to 0(By default 1) and hit "OK".Close registry editor.


Thus you have solved Dr.Watson Postmodem Debugger problem.To restart the execution type "drwtsn32 -i" in "Run" and press "OK".
