write an image file to pen drive by win32 diskimager

Sometimes you must need to write an image file to pen drive and must noticed that there is not a perfect solution of it in internet. It can be possible by a software namely Win32 Diskimager. A little software with vast utility. It’s absolutely a freeware. Win32 Disk Imager uses .img or .IMG files as it’s input. It is very useful to create a bootable copy of operating system in pen drive.


PROCEDURE:

1. Download the freeware.
2. No installation will be needed. Just open the Win32 DiskImager application file by double clicking on it.

3. A small window will be opened. Click on the browse option just right of the Image File tab and navigate the image file location. Look at the right side of this browse option. If pen drive will plugged in it will automatically detect the pen drive and show the drive letter. In my PC it is J.

4. Now click on the Write button to write the image file to pen drive. Just before writing it will automatically make the pen drive bootable such that you can access the pen drive data at the time of booting.
